How it works

Pick a measurement family, a from unit, a to unit, and a value. Length and weight pass through metres and kilograms. Temperature uses the Celsius, Fahrenheit, and Kelvin formulas rather than a simple ratio. Data size can use powers of 1,000 or powers of 1,024. The result updates as you type.
