Loading tool…

  1. 1 Enter the amount you invest each month.
  2. 2 Enter the annual return you want to test, as a percent.
  3. 3 Enter the number of years.
  4. 4 Read the future value, the amount invested, and the estimated gain.

How it works

A systematic investment plan (SIP) puts in the same amount every month. This calculator compounds that amount monthly at the annual return you enter. It shows how much you would invest, what the corpus could grow to, and the gap between the two, which is the estimated gain. Markets do not return a fixed rate, so treat the result as a projection, not a promise.

FV = P × ((1 + r)^n − 1) / r × (1 + r), where r is the monthly rate and n is the number of months.

Frequently asked questions

Does this include tax or exit load?

No. The result is the compounded investment value before tax, fees, and exit load.

Why is the monthly rate used?

A SIP is invested every month, so the annual return is divided by 12 and compounded once per month.
