In-hand salary calculator

Estimate monthly take-home pay from CTC, PF, professional tax, and new-regime income tax.

Loading tool…

  1. 1 Enter annual CTC.
  2. 2 Adjust basic pay as a percent of CTC if your offer letter uses a different split.
  3. 3 Keep the PF cap on unless your basic is fully covered by 12% PF.
  4. 4 Read the monthly breakdown. Change one input to see how take-home moves.

How it works

Employers quote cost to company, which is larger than the amount that reaches your account. This estimate treats basic pay as a share of CTC, sets employer provident fund at 12% of basic with an optional ₹1,800 monthly cap, and subtracts an equal employee contribution plus professional tax. Optional income tax uses the new regime for FY 2026-27: a ₹75,000 standard deduction, the seven-slab rates, the rebate up to ₹12 lakh of taxable income, marginal relief, and 4% cess. Surcharge is not included.

In-hand = monthly gross − employee PF − professional tax − monthly tax.

Frequently asked questions

Why is this different from my payslip?

Offers differ on basic, HRA, special allowance, PF cap, bonus, and labour-welfare deductions. The breakdown shows the assumptions used here.

Does the new regime allow 80C?

No. Employee PF is subtracted from take-home, but it is not deducted again when estimating new-regime tax.
